Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by Taylor's Boot & Shoe Repair ("we," "us," or "our") and your use of our repair services.

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

Our Services

Taylor's Boot & Shoe Repair provides professional footwear repair services including:

  • Heel replacement and repair
  • Sole repair and replacement
  • Leather conditioning and restoration
  • Shoe stretching and fitting adjustments
  • Hardware and zipper repair
  • Complete footwear restoration

We reserve the right to refuse service for footwear that cannot be safely or effectively repaired.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for all repair work. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Final pricing may vary if additional work is discovered during the repair process.

We will contact you for approval before performing any additional work that would exceed the original estimate by more than $10.

Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Service Process and Timeline

Standard turnaround times are estimates and may vary based on workload and complexity of repairs:

  • Simple repairs: 1-2 business days
  • Standard repairs: 3-5 business days
  • Complex restorations: 5-7 business days

Rush service is available for most repairs within 24 hours for an additional 50% charge.

We will contact you when your footwear is ready for pickup. Items not collected within 60 days may be disposed of at our discretion.

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your footwear and repair needs
  • Clean footwear of excessive dirt or debris before drop-off
  • Remove all personal items from footwear
  • Pay for services within the agreed timeframe
  • Collect completed repairs promptly

We are not responsible for items left in footwear or for damage to footwear that was present before repair.

Quality and Satisfaction

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If you are not satisfied with our repairs due to workmanship issues, please contact us within 30 days of pickup.

Our commitment covers the quality of our work, not normal wear and tear after repairs are completed.

We will make reasonable efforts to address any legitimate concerns about our workmanship at no additional charge.

Limitations of Liability

While we take great care in handling your footwear, we cannot accept responsibility for:

  • Pre-existing damage or defects not disclosed
  • Damage to fragile or deteriorated materials
  • Color variations in dyes or finishes
  • Loss or theft of items from our premises
  • Consequential or indirect damages

Our total liability is limited to the cost of the repair services provided.

When using our website, you agree to:
